Syntronik Deluxe with 22 Instruments

VCF3

VCF3 is based on the much-revered and tremendously coveted British royal icon, the EMS VCS3, a peculiar 3-oscillator patchable analog electronic instrument whose traditional synth sounds and wild, otherworldly sound effects have forever made their mark on both classic rock and pop music, like Pink Floyd’s timeless “Dark Side of the Moon” album, many Brian Eno productions and fan favorite science fiction television like the enduring Doctor Who series.
The VCS3, first introduced in 1969, was Electronic Music Studios’ first commercial product: a portable synthesizer, housed in a solid cabinet, unlike other machines from American manufacturers such as Moog Music, ARP and Buchla which were housed in very large cabinets and could take up entire rooms.
Original units are very rare and expensive, but we carefully turned our own little Putney in a magical instrument of its own, the VCF3, boasting all the same character and adding a new dimension to the whole Syntronik library.
The VCS3 has been used by Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Stereolab, Yes, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Jean-Michel Jarre, Astral Projection, Klaus Schulze, Depeche Mode, Vince Clarke, and many more.

Memory-V

Memory-V is based on the classic 18-oscillator monster analog polysynth, the Memorymoog. We’ve recorded the single oscillators and innovative combinations of multiple oscillators … along with unison stacks, pulse width modulation, and synched oscillators … plus some classic full patches to bring this legendary beast to life once more.
The Memorymoog has earned the reputation of being one of the fattest-sounding analog polyphonic synthesizers ever made – and rightly so – but also of being somewhat unreliable and prone to damage. While, for most musicians, owning one is a fantasy – second-hand units can command a five-figure sum – the high price of maintenance is also a concern to most synth aficionados.
We wanted to truly immortalize this gem’s analog soul once and for all, so everyone could take advantage of its unmistakable sonic power.
We sourced a pristine unit, we recorded the single oscillators, innovative combinations of multiple oscillators, along with unison stacks, pulse width modulation, and synched oscillators plus some classic full patches to bring this legendary beast to life once more.
This rare and expensive synthesizer has been used by numerous artists over the decades including Jean-Michel Jarre, 808 State, The Orb, Jan Hammer, Bon Jovi, INXS, legendary keyboardist Rick Wakeman, George Duke, Tom Coster and many others.

M-Poly

M-Poly brings the classic SSM chip-based sound of the Korg® Mono/Poly and Polysix to the world of Syntronik. With deep sampling of from 1 to 4 oscillators and all available waveshapes, these analog classics expand the tonal palette of Syntronik by introducing the sounds of this legendary Japanese synth manufacturer to our instrument. We have of course also provided deep sampling of evocative Pulse Width sweeps and vivid Pulse Width Modulation of the square waves.
From pads to string sounds and brassy hits to driving sequences, the M-Poly extends the Syntronik family with the sought-after timbre of two highly acclaimed machines beloved by thousands of synth enthusiasts.
Famous users were Tangerine Dream, The Orb, 808 State, the Chemical Brothers, Astral Projection, Kitaro, Keith Emerson and Tears for Fears.

SH-V

SH-V is based on two mighty Japanese mono synths from the late 1970s, the Roland SH-5 and SH-2. These early SH-series synths are known for their robust bass sounds and snappy envelopes. And of course in Syntronik, they excel at leads and even pads as well, when played polyphonically. Like the M-Poly, the SH-V includes extensive samples of pulse width sweeps and pulse width modulation of the square waves for a complete representation of these classic instruments.

Modulum

Modulum brings the sound of analog modular drums to the world of Syntronik.
We used the modular Moog, EMS VCS3 and Alesis Andromeda synthesizers all cross-patched together to generate powerful and evocative synth drums and percussion sounds especially for Syntronik.
This unique combination of top-quality synth sources creates album-ready analog drum sounds that will instantly boost the range, depth and quality of every production.
